The ARIZONA DESERET CHOIR is a community service music organization offering public concerts of wide musical variety. Selections range from sacred masterpieces to the whimsical; from powerful world classics to folk; from national patriotism to Broadway glitter. The music will uplift and ennoble the listener and performer alike by combining vocal and orchestral groups in varied performance settings.
The choir has deep roots in the Valley of the Sun, with decades and generations of music experience.
Choir members audition to join the choir, and share their impressive vocal and instrumental training.
"Deseret" is a term used in The Book of Mormon meaning "honeybee," a symbol of industry and self-sufficiency.
